Ceretis CT 17 deep penetrating primer. Preparation for surface strengthening of all absorbent substrates.

Ceresit CT 17 is used for priming substrates (walls, floors, ceilings) inside and outside buildings before fixing ceramic tiles, pouring floors, fixing floor coverings, wallpapering, filling, painting or fixing thermal insulation boards. The primer does not contain solvent. Substrates primed with CT 17 (all types of plaster, concrete, screeds, underlays with underfloor heating) are less absorbent, which prevents too rapid drying of adhesive mortars, floors, putties or paints. The preparation penetrates into the substrate and binds the aggregate grains, but does not increase the strength parameters throughout the substrate. Application of CT 17 is particularly recommended for gypsum, anhydrite and aerated concrete substrates. It is also suitable for priming untreated plasterboard. The preparation causes a yellowish colouring of substrates.
