Description
strengthens the surface of primed mineral substrates - penetrates the material structure, reinforces it and improves its load-bearing capacity
improves the performance of paints, varnishes and adhesives - by sealing the structure of the primed substrate, it increases the performance of the materials used for the next layer, reduces consumption
facilitates application of subsequent coats - paints, adhesives, smooths and putties, primers and self-levelling floors, glues for carpets, wallpaper adhesives, adhesives for thermal insulation of substrates, etc.
Reduces absorption of the substrate - prevents "extraction" of excessive water from the product applied on primed substrates: cement underlays with or without underfloor heating, various types of plaster, etc.
unifies surface absorption - thanks to ATLAS UNI-GRUNT, the product applied in the next layer has the same binding conditions on the whole surface, including places where local repairs were performed
binds unstable substrates - reduces dusting of floors, floor bases and plasters
suitable for application at elevated temperatures - recommended for use from 5 °C to 30 °C, indoors and outdoors
Main properties
ATLAS UNI-GRUNT is an impregnating primer produced on the basis of the highest quality aqueous dispersion of polymeric resins.

very short drying time - depending on the temperature and air humidity conditions, application of new coats on the primed surface is possible already after:

- after approx. 15 minutes - applies to ATLAS adhesive mortars,

- after approx. 2 hours - applies to floors and self-levelling underlays, applies to coatings on cement-lime plaster, silicate blocks and aerated concrete blocks.

very low VOC content - 15 times less VOC content than required

colourless, solvent-free and water-dilutable - the product is colourless when dry, does not cause discolouration of the substrate

can be applied by roller, brush or spraying

Consumption

The average consumption is 0.05 - 0.2 kg of emulsion per 1 m². In practice, the consumption depends on the absorbency of the substrate.
