Atlas SMS 15 fast-performing, self-levelling floor underlay (1-15 mm)

Key features:

foot traffic already after 3 hours

tiling after only 8 hours

under tiles, carpets, panels, parquet

low linear shrinkage

Description:

Levents substrates in the range of 1-15 mm - both when the substrate has only localised irregularities and when it is made with a slight slope throughout.
Raises the floor level throughout the room - for example, when it is necessary to level two adjacent rooms.
Can be used in rooms, halls, lobbies, lounges, offices, corridors, waiting rooms, kitchens - in residential buildings, public, educational and healthcare facilities.
Can be used in rooms with increased humidity such as domestic bathrooms.
Recommended for levelling the surface of existing heating, cement and anhydrite subfloors - where the unevenness of the subfloor prevents the final cladding and an additional thin layer of material must be applied.
After completion, it provides a very smooth surface - it is especially recommended as a finishing layer for floor underlays made under thin-layer coverings and PVC panels.
Types of finishing layers - tiles, PVC floor coverings, carpets, panels, parquet, epoxy floors.

Main properties:

Has excellent spreadability - allows a level surface to be achieved even in large rooms, without the need for guide strips and patching of the compound.

Fast setting - rapid strength build-up allows foot traffic as early as 3 hours after primer application

Very low linear shrinkage - minimal linear shrinkage of the underlay during setting (≤ 0.6 mm/mb) reduces the possibility of cracking and loosening from weak substrates (low cohesiveness).

It is suitable for manual or machine application - it can be easily and quickly applied both by hand and with machines equipped with auger pumps, thus achieving high productivity.

Consumption:  An average of 16.6 kg of mortar is used per 1 m², for every 10 mm of layer thickness.
